Mark your calendars: the 2024 NC LIVE Annual Conference is coming soon! This year, we'll gather at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, N.C. on Friday, May 17. We'll also have a day of virtual sessions on Monday, May 20.
Registration
Registration for both days is free for our member libraries! Each day will have different sessions and programming, so we encourage you to attend both.

Keynote Speakers
We are pleased to announce our two keynote speakers: Rebecca Tolley and Meredith G. Farkas! Rebecca will speak in-person on May 17, and Meredith will speak virtually on May 20.
Rebecca Tolley is the Director of Research and Instruction Services at East Tennessee State University. She speaks and publishes on mental illness in libraries, establishing healthy personal and professional boundaries in the workplace, and cultivating empathy in library workers.
Meredith G. Farkas is a faculty librarian at Portland Community College and a lecturer at San Jose State University’s iSchool. She is the author of the blog Information Wants to Be Free, where she has published articles on slow librarianship and other wellness topics.

All conference events will take place on the fifth floor of the Union Station Building at Cape Fear Community College. See the floor plan
